I was looking to purchase a guitar and after watching/reading reviews and asking questions, I purchased the Mogabi V3 Acoustic model.
Gianna and the tech team at Mogabi were very helpful and addressed any questions and concerns in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
The package arrived safely in about a week with all accessories enclosed.
It looks beautiful and operates as advertised with its many features. The instrument plays nice and the Mogabi brand coated strings sound great.
The neck and fretboard are especially nice. It has a real good feel and holds tuning.
Personally, I love that I can push a button, record a backing track and accompany myself. I find it's an effective method for practice and very helpful with songwriting.
Overall it's a pleasure to play this guitar.
Thanks Gianna for your help and Mogabi for a great guitar.
This guitar has met all my expectations.
I’m primarily using it to practice. I like the ability to record chord progressions and practice guitar leads on top of the chords.
Thank you
Al
I’m learning how to play on this guitar. It’s easy to take anywhere! I can fold it up and strap it to the back of my bike, it’s takes up little room in my car, and easy to fold and unfold. I take it to the park if I’m going to a friend’s place and people are amazed at what it can do! Having the option to play with and without the speaker is great! With the speaker off I don’t disturb my family while they are sleeping or while we are watching a movie. It makes it so much more convenient to practice. I definitely use it more than my standard style guitar.
The guitar did arrive in very good condition and was well packed. This is undoubtedly the most unique guitar I have in the collection. I'm working may way through all the features, but I can tell you first off it plays very well. The action is set more like an electric guitar which makes it much easier to play than any acoustic guitar. The fit and finish on it is upper end and while its light you can tell its well made and crafted. The additional items that came with it, such as the adapters and additional set of strings, is a great touch and shows customer orientation.
I think the real magic comes when I plug this guitar directly into my Zoom L-12 mixer, add a touch of reverb and delay, and send it out to my 15" FRFR speakers. The sound is incredibly full and rich.
I thank Mogabi company for creating such a tool . This guitar is very well made , super comfortable to travel and it just has a divine sound ! Thank you for this magic and the incomparable pleasure that you experience when you take it into your own hands !
It's a great guitar, sounds great, feels great. Ergonomics of the main body is unusual, but easy to get used to it. Overall a unique foldable design for an electric guitar.
I previously had the acoustic version, which I did not like. This electric version is working out pretty good. I’m using it with a Line 6 POD Express and it sounds fine for travel. The only thing that bothers me a little is while playing it the plastic components creek from the pressure of my right arm resting on the frame.
The guitar is solidly built, looks great, sounds surprisingly good for having a relatively small internal speaker, and sounds even better plugged into an amplifier. Love the portability, recording features, sound and connection options, and all the accessories that came with it. Very happy with the purchase. Opens up whole new possibilities.
I've wanted to get a hold of one of these instruments back during the Kickstarter days of mogabi projects
I watched several online videos of the many users that already use the instrument for their own advantage
Remembering I spent all night watching different reviews on this guitar at first I was a bit sceptical about it but at the time I was attracted by the way how the circular headstock looks had to be by far the best looking travel size guitar I have ever seen.
Before I had this wanted to trade in my outdated travel size for this guitar and I'm so glad I made that happen.
The best part about I enjoyed about this instrument is while you play you can play back in loops while you continue playing to make many different levels of harmony's and record it as well. I know there are other products out there that achieve the same but there's a USB port to upload on to a separate midi drive, and know that independently takes on sounds and music are different just from my own experience.
Lot's of W's mogabi here.
Sincerely 💅

Having looked at several portable guitars on the market, l’m glad that I recently purchased a Mogabi 200. The guitar is easy to assemble, and the clarity of tone across all strings and positions make it a pleasure and to play, resulting in an impressive overall quality of sound.
Order #1088 Mogabi Guitar 200 Mic Preamp Package WOOD was a delivery to Switzerland. The delivered plugs do not fit to any electric socket in Sitzerland. It’s a shame this Mogabi guitar for USD 1'049 is equipped so poorly and it’s a shame Mogabi does not care for their customers interests.
Once the guitar is flipped 180° and ready to play on it, body and neck are not stable in line, altough it’s properly interlocked and altough both wings are locked in place. The mechanical design is very poor.
The electronics for the built-in speaker have a significant amount of noise, that hurts a musician's ears.
The whole thing is an affront, a big disappointment.
I cannot approve the management's commitment to customers and I cannot recommend this guitar, not even to those with low expectations.
Hi , I recieved the guitar but unfortunately there was a quality issue with the guitar and until now unable to use the guitar as I m waiting for a new replacement guitar.
Once I receive the replacement guitar I will write another review,
Meantime I am still waiting patiently
As a frequent traveller and guitar enthusiast, I've always struggled to find a reliable and portable instrument to accompany me on my journeys. That's when I discovered the Mogabi guitar.
The first thing that caught my attention was the build quality. Crafted with precision and high-quality materials, it's evident that durability and performance were top priorities during its creation. Despite being compact, it doesn't compromise on sound, delivering rich and full tones.
One of the standout features for me is its adaptability to air travel. The design ensures that it can be easily stowed in overhead compartments, making it a perfect companion for those frequent trips and long-haul flights.
Moreover, Mogabi's support and assistance have been great from the first moment. From providing informative tutorials to promptly addressing questions or concerns, their dedication to customer satisfaction has impressed me.
In summary, this portable smart guitar is a game-changer for travelling musicians. With its top-notch build quality, excellent sound, and outstanding support provided by the company, I highly recommend this guitar to any musician who's constantly on the move.
